We’re looking for someone with strong experience in substation design, protection scheme design, and commissioning. The role involves leading technical projects, managing customer relations, and overseeing testing/commissioning processes.

* Location: Stafford (2-3 days per week onsite)
* Start date: ASAP
* Contract: 6-month rolling contract (likely 18 months+)
* IR35: Inside IR35
* Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Ideal candidate:
* Over five years of protection and electrical design engineering-related experience.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of protection functions, electrical scheme, and cubicle design.
* Design Expertise: Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies.
* Automation and protection Systems: In-depth knowledge of automation electrical scheme, detailed design of electrical protection relays (LV, MV & HV), and network studies.
