A returning client of ours is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Analyst to support financial and commercial decision-making across the business. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years’ experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to turn data into meaningful insights. Experience within the technology sector is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse financial and commercial data to support business performance and growth
* Produce regular reports and dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes
* Partner with finance and wider business teams to provide insight and recommendations
* Maintain data accuracy and improve reporting efficiency
* Assist with ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions
Required Skills & Experience
* 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial analyst, finance analyst, or similar role
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, complex formulas, Power Query)
* Strong Power BI experience (data modelling, dashboards, reporting)
* Ability to translate data into clear, commercial insight
* Confident communicator with stakeholders at different levels
Desirable
* Experience working in the technology or SaaS sector
* Exposure to financial modelling, forecasting, or pricing analysis
* Knowledge of data tools (advantageous but not essential)
