They will apply deep expertise in system performance, capacity assessment, and optimisation to deliver robust, compliant, and customer focused solutions throughout the shipbuilding lifecycle. The role ensures high engineering standards by driving improvements to processes, supporting technical investigations, and providing evidence-based decision making. Strong HVAC and marine/building services systems experience is essential to ensuring system reliability and capability across the platform. Key Responsibilities: Preparing specifications and developing HVAC system designs in accordance with project requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations. This includes Heat Load Calculations, Psychrometrics, Pressure Drop Calculations and Single Line Diagrams (schematics). Carry out design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and design criteria.
