The school is in the Bristol area, working closely with children who have complex medical difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, challenging behaviour and/or sensory impairment. As an SEN Support Assistant, you will be required to provide specialist support in a classroom setting for children with learning disabilities and difficulties. Vision For Education are seeking the ideal candidate who is positive, enthusiastic, and eager to develop their skills. You will support teaching and learning across the school, providing general support to pupils and management of resources.
Requirements
The ideal SEND Support Assistant will:
1. Be enthusiastic and reliable.
2. Have the ability to work with children with a range of additional and complex needs.
3. Have good communication skills.
4. Be patient and resilient.
