Working from home, the office and out in the community, you'll work proactively to achieve positive outcomes and goals outlined by individuals, by using a creative approach tailored to each person's needs
You'll have chance to broaden or strengthen your skills in supporting a range of complex of needs, including housing crisis, substance misuse, complex mental health, ACEs, offending behaviour etc.
Further enhance your relationship building and partnership working skills, by promoting your services and working closely relevant local agencies such as the local authority, specialist charities, education and training providers, probation, social services, and housing provisions etc.
A non-judgemental mindset and an understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma
Experience in support work or housing, with an understanding of housing options, housing law and basic benefits
Full Driving Licence, access to a car with Business Class Insurance and an MOT.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, plus an on-call rota*
On Call: Required to be part of the first tier on call rota, including telephone and in-person support. Support Workers provide On-call support and advice for colleagues, with issues and emergencies they may need to deal with. This may require providing some shift cover / out of hours project attendance where alternatives are not possible.

30 years ago Llamau was founded to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Since then, we have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their children who are either homeless or facing homelessness.
Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation - a safe place to stay. But it is very clear to us that for most people who are facing homelessness, their problems are far more complex than a lack of permanent shelter.
