About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Engineering Reliability & Stores Coordinator to join our team in a busy food manufacturing environment. This role is central to keeping our site running smoothly, you will be the link between engineering, production, finance, contractors, and stores, ensuring that maintenance activities are well-planned, compliant, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact between engineering, production, finance, and contractors.
* Support the maintenance team with admin tasks, technical documents, and spare parts management.
* Plan and schedule daily maintenance work using the CMMS (e.g., Shire), including shutdowns and weekend work.
* Oversee engineering stores: ordering, issuing/returning spares, deliveries, returns, and stock control.
* Maintain accurate records such as SOPs, compliance logs, permits to work, and maintenance reports.
* Liaise with suppliers and OEMs to source parts and services cost-effectively.
* Monitor stock levels for critical equipment and manage held/redundant stock.
* Track budgets, purchase orders, KPIs, and engineering spend.
* Report on shift coverage, contractor activities, and performance metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR).
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide CMMS training for the team.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a maintenance coordination or technical admin role (ideally in food manufacturing).
Understanding of engineering workflows and preventive maintenance.
Proficient with CMMS systems (Shire, SAP, or similar).
Knowledge of stores and inventory management.
Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
Confident working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Finance, and Quality.
Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards in a manufacturing environment.
