Overview
Full and part time vacancy (minimum of 16 hours a week for part time) to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins shifts. We are looking for a warm, caring and motivated Support Worker to join our friendly, well-established team in Blackburn. The service supports individuals with learning and mobility difficulties with personal care, medication administration, and community access.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Support Worker you will be providing person-centred care and support to 4 service users who reside in their own homes, to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to enjoy a wide range of activities. You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. Activities include cooking/baking, board games, movie nights, arts and crafts and many more. No two days will be the same and we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities.

* A sense of humour and energy to join a friendly, energetic staff team of Support Workers
Location and Travel
The service is on a main bus route and within 1.5 miles of Blackburn town centre. Car drivers are encouraged to apply as people we support have their own mobility vehicles to access the community.
