We have a wonderful opportunity for a Receptionist to join our friendly team at our Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre in Wishaw. You will be managing the telephone switchboard and be the focal point of contact for all enquiries on site, and assist in the day-to-day administration of the site. We provide specialist rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from an acquired brain injury, and we also provide residential care for individuals with progressive neurological conditions.
What you'll be working:
* Part-Time - 20 hours
* 4 hours over 5 days Monday-Friday (negotiable)
* Salary - £26,025.87 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata) FTE hours 37.5
What you'll be doing:
* Ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
* Operation of the telephone system and acting as the focal point for enquiries in the service, liaising with colleagues, patients / residents / young people, and visitors as appropriate.
* Central information point for colleagues and visitors.
* Ensuring that all visitors to the hospital are issued a badge and welcomed appropriately.
* Take receipt of and open the post and distribute to the appropriate department.
* Any filling, photocopying, laminating, or shredding as required for all departments.
* Ordering of stationery for site.
* Booking of vehicles and taxis for patients / residents / young people and visitors.
* Maintain their own training compliance with and ensure they are up to date with regulatory standards.
* Adherence to all Group policies and procedures, and ensuring that all colleagues in the service are aware of and understand company policies.
What you'll have:
* Possess excellent organisational skills and be self-motivated.
* Possess good administrative/secretarial skills.
* Able to work well on own initiative, with minimal supervision.
* IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Friendly and approachable demeanour to create a positive first impression.
* Ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail for managing records and handling correspondence.
* Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
