As a Management Accountant, you'll contribute to the financial success of operations spanning both Belfast and Dublin. Your new role In this position, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that encompass financial reporting and analysis. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts up to trial balance stage, including journals and supporting schedules. Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial records under the guidance of the Financial Controller. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting statutory reports, audits, and Annual Statutory Accounts. Managing quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations within UK and Irish jurisdictions. Handling revenue reporting, cost analysis, and production performance evaluation. Reviewing the TMS system, contributing to annual budgeting, and generating ad hoc senior leadership reports. Facilitating business improvement projects, such as implementing new financial systems. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate: Ideally, you will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be in the final stages of completing one. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business. Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and a proactive attitude. The ability to manage tight deadlines and pay exceptional attention to detail.
