We are looking for a senior conveyancer to join the Blackstone team who will play a major part in growing the business through leading and directing their junior colleagues, developing lasting relationships with our local estate agents and refers to increase their referrals, and to drive efficiencies through the use of technology and improvement to system and processes working alongside the commercial director, head of department and the operational support team.

The senior conveyancer role is a key member of the residential team who will assist in the delivery of our vision, and our desired growth along with contributing to the overall happiness of our clients and the team itself. You will be a leader, and key point of contact for clients, team members and referral partners.You will have the support of legal assistants and work alongside the Head of Residential Department in creating an environment and process that delivers outstanding service to our residential clients and our referral partners. You will use your experience, knowledge and inquisitive nature to identify and initiate the improvement of systems and processes to make the delivery of our conveyancing service easier, clearer and quicker.You will have the support and engagement of the Head of Residential, Commercial Director and the MD of the business to become the best possible version of yourself and to influence and help create the best possible team around you.

Technical skills
Legal Knowledge & Technical Expertise
* Residential Property Law: Deep understanding of freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered land, title checks, and property ownership structures.
* Land Registry & SDLT: Proficiency in handling Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions.
* Contract Drafting & Review: Ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), GDPR, and SRA regulations.
