Casual SEN Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and committed Casual SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Wellingborough area.
This flexible, day-to-day role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
The role:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
We're looking for candidates who:
Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
Can adapt to different settings and pupil needs
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
