We are looking to recruit an additional part-time Practice Nurse to join our friendly team for 12 hours per week over 4 days.
Working hours are:
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 1.30 - 4.30pm (3 hours per day)
Our Nurses play a key role in the broader team of professionals at the practice, and Bradford Student Health Service is well supported by the resources of the PCN.

Main duties of the job
Candidates must have experience working in General Practice, possess essential treatment room skills, and ideally hold qualifications in LTC Management, preferably in Asthma and Diabetes. The key to fitting in at our practice is a commitment to excellent patient care and working collaboratively as a long-term team member.

About us
Bradford Student Health Service is a university practice located near the University of Bradford, serving over 10,500 patients, primarily students aged 18-25, including many overseas students.
We are a small, friendly team working collaboratively with the University of Bradford. We are part of PCN 6, which comprises 9 GP practices working together across the network area with community partners to care for our local population.
Job responsibilities
To implement processes for the effective management of patients with long-term conditions using evidence-based practice, including care for elderly and housebound patients.
Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the patient population.
The Practice Nurse will be responsible for clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, well-woman and well-man clinics, and supporting the practice management team in reviewing and delivering clinical policies and procedures.

Qualifications
