Early Years Teaching Assistant
Ashford
£440 - £550 per week October - ongoing
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a thriving primary school in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young children flourish in their early stages of learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide support to pupils in Early Years, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
2. Assist with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities, guided by the class teacher.
3. Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
4. Provide personal care where required, ensuring the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each child.
5. Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
6. Experience of working with children in Early Years (nursery or reception age) is desirable.
7. A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
8. Confidence and experience in supporting children with SEN.
9. Willingness and ability to assist with personal care needs.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
