As we continue to grow our digital presence, we are looking for a Mid-weight Digital Designer to help us elevate our online experience, ensuring it reflects the same quality, creativity, and craftsmanship as our products.
Job Summary
The Mid-weight Digital Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality, user-focused digital design across the Sofas & Stuff website and digital channels. This role focuses on UI design, responsive layouts, digital campaigns, and optimisation, working closely with the UX & Digital Design Lead to ensure our website delivers best-in-class brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & UI Design
• Design and deliver engaging web pages, landing pages, banners, and campaign assets in Figma
• Produce responsive layouts optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile
• Ensure design outputs meet accessibility and brand standards Campaign & Creative Support
• Create digital campaign assets, including display ad banners, PLP banners, homepage, landing pages and social creative support
• Design and build all email communications in HubSpot, including automated workflows and solus campaigns
• Test and optimise emails for responsive performance across devices and email clients
• Partner with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to review automated workflows and recommend improvements to creative and strategy
• Work with marketing to align creative with campaign objectives and brand positioning
• Support 'The Upholstery' trade initiative, including design work across the dedicated portal and emails
Website Experience & Optimisation
• Collaborate with the UX Lead on prototyping and walkthroughs for new features
• Maintain visual quality of imagery and assets across the site
• Ensure consistency and style guide is up to date and implemented across all projects
• Use tools such as Hotjar and DooFinder data to identify improvements
• Support SEO by ensuring visuals and meta/alt tags align with best practice
Collaboration & Testing
• Liaise with developers during sprint cycles, providing briefs and testing outputs
• Conduct post-release QA and report bugs where necessary
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and content roles to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
Skills & Experience
• 3+ years experience in digital design, ideally luxury e-commerce
• Skilled in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Animation and film editing experience preferred
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for design handover and light edits
• Experience designing for responsive websites and email platforms
• Collaborative and proactive, able to balance creativity with deadlines
