Car Systems Engineer – Customer Racing (LMP2 / GT3)

United Autosports is recruiting a Car Systems Engineer for Customer Racing, supporting the installation, validation and reliability of all onboard systems across LMP2 and GT3 cars.
This role sits at the intersection of mechanical and electronic operations, ensuring every system fits, functions and integrates correctly.
About the Role
You will work hands-on with wiring looms, sensors, mounting hardware, brake/hydraulic systems, cooling circuits, electrical interfaces and system sign-off during build cycles.
What You'll Be Doing
* Installing and checking system hardware during car builds.
* Performing continuity checks, routing validation, connector inspections and system activations.
* Troubleshooting system faults alongside Systems Engineers and mechanical crews.
* Preparing wiring diagrams, inspection sheets and process documentation.
* Supporting engineers with data and system observations during sessions.
* Maintaining structured, repeatable installation standards.
What You'll Bring
* Engineering or mechatronics background with hands-on motorsport experience.
* Strong understanding of car systems, wiring, sensors and mechanical interfaces.
* Calmness during fast-paced troubleshooting.
* Ability to work closely with mechanics, engineers and operations.
