The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital provides elective orthopaedic surgeries to patients throughout Scotland to assist in the reduction of waiting times. The hospital is also the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre.
Position
Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner – Orthopaedic Department
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support delivery of services in a busy and often unpredictable environment.
Responsibilities
* Support delivery of physiotherapy services to orthopaedic patients.
* Carry a delegated case load and manage patient assessment and discharge following orthopaedic surgery.
* Work closely with the rehabilitation team.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Motivated and driven.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy environment.
