Overview

Are you passionate about inspiring young people who have Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues to achieve their full potential? Do you want to make a positive impact on our communities by helping young people to thrive in further education? Then this could be the role for you.

Due to increasing student numbers and investment into our inclusive learning provision we are recruiting for additional Learner Support Officers to join our team at Downham Market to support our Bridge to Engagement learners. Our Bridge to Engagement programme enables learners who may not be comfortable at a larger campus to access further education in a small, bespoke campus. Our group sizes are small, meaning that we can offer a highly supported environment, enabling our learners to develop and progress to either further study or employment. Our support team are integral in providing learners with the tools, knowledge and confidence that they need to succeed, and we are proud of the success of these programmes.

Our Bridge to Engagement provision programmes are designed to support young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues. We are looking for innovative and passionate Learner Support Officers who are confident in managing challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

* Support learners on the Bridge to Engagement programme to access further education in a small, bespoke campus.
* Provide tools, knowledge and confidence to learners to help them succeed and progress to further study or employment.
