We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to work for an electronic equipment supplier based in Bicester. Responsibilities: • Design electronics for applications that include machine vision, robotics and industrial wireless networks • Support testing and documentation for product regulatory approvals and certifications • Development of automated production test hardware • Produce engineering documentation including assembly drawings, manufacturing instructions and test procedures • Review product designs for manufacturability and failure modes Qualifications and experience required: • Ideally graduated with a 2.1 or higher in electronics engineering or a related discipline • At least three years of experience in a relevant design role • Analogue and digital circuit design, from schematic capture through to layout (preferably with Altium) • Design for manufacturability techniques • Board-level electronics debugging with common test equipment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Experience in one or more of the following would be beneficial: • Design for harsh environments with appropriate certifications (e.g., IECEx, ATEX, DNV-GL) • EMC and regulatory requirements for devices that feature radio communications • Low-power wireless networks (e.g, Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth) • Camera and rangi...
