Key Responsibilities of the Religious Education (RE) Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver informative and engaging RE lessons across Key Stages. Promote critical thinking, respect, and appreciation for diverse beliefs and worldviews. Create dynamic lessons that encourage discussion, reflection, and cultural understanding. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum and contribute to a positive school environment. Requirements for the Religious Education (RE) Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Experience delivering Religious Education at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and passion for exploring religion, culture, and ethics. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
