Teaching Personnel is eager to register support staff in the Portland area seeking flexible employment opportunities. We are assisting numerous schools in and around the area with cover for sickness or holidays, catering to both short-term and long-term requirements.
Role:
* Flexible working - Accept only the days you want to work.
* Short-term and Long-term bookings available.
* Temp to Perm opportunities within Primary setting.
* Working across various Primary Schools with various needs.
* Guiding pupils through Key stage one and Key stage two curriculum.
How it works:
* For day-to-day bookings and short-term sickness cover, we will contact you in the morning to check your availability for the day. You will be informed about the school, year group, location, and the day's expectations.
* Short-term bookings, ranging from 1 to 5 days per week, are available and can be scheduled in advance or on the same day. You have the flexibility to select the hours and days you wish to work.
* Long-term bookings involve 1-5 days per week for a duration of 10 weeks. These bookings are made at the request of the school, and you have the option to accept or decline based on your preference.
* (All roles are discussed with you and you have final say as to whether you would like to work the role or not)
Requirements:
* Ideally, candidates should have experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
* Possession of an Enhanced Child-only DBS certificate registered with the Update Service is required (assistance with this can be provided).
* Experience in supporting across one or both Primary Key Stages would be beneficial.
