Job Title: Field Service Engineer

My client are a leading name in sheet metal/machine tool industry, and they are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Planned Service Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and production equipment through proactive maintenance and service planning.
About the Role:
The Planned Service Engineer will be responsible for the routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of a range of machinery used in within the sheet metal industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine planned maintenance of machine tools and associated equipment
* Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when necessary.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar service or maintenance engineering role
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
