An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a long term Defence delivery programme within the Scottish region, with Edinburgh preferred and Glasgow also suitable. This role suits an experienced Project Manager who wants to work on a multi year MOD programme and is comfortable travelling regularly to customer and delivery sites.
About the Role - Project Manager
* As a Project Manager, you will work under the direction of Programme and Senior Project Managers to deliver assigned projects to agreed scope, cost, and schedule.
* You will manage architects, installation design authority resources, and subcontractors to ensure delivery aligns with MOD standards.
* The role includes confirming requirements with customers, attending site surveys and installations, and coordinating engineering resources.
* You will own delivery plans, manage change requests, resolve snagging issues, and provide structured reporting throughout the lifecycle.
* You will manage purchase orders, third party costs, hardware staging, secure delivery, and obtain completion sign off in line with forecasts.
