Start Date: ASAP - End of May/Beginning of June Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate individualised treatment plans. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address a range of mental health concerns prevalent in older adults. Collaborate closely with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care delivery. Offer consultation and support to colleagues within the team, contributing to the ongoing professional development and learning culture. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies. Requirements: A recognised qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (HCPC registered) for Band 8b/8a positions. For Band 7 positions, a qualification in CBT or Psychological Therapy (BABCP accredited or equivalent) is essential. Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions within a clinical setting, preferably with older adults. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders.
