We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dedicated catering team at a well‑established school in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about producing fresh, nutritious meals for children and staff in a supportive and positive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Chef de Partie, you will:
Support the Head Chef in preparing high‑quality, nutritious meals for pupils and staff
Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and service
Help manage stock, deliveries, and food rotation
Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and compliant with regulations
Contribute to a friendly, welcoming, and professional kitchen environment
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong background in a catering role
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
A positive attitude and passion for providing great food
