We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Sports Activity Leader to join the team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children. Your responsibilities will include supervising children, organising and preparing appropriate play-based activities, and ensuring the environment is left clean and tidy at the end of each session.

This position is contracted for 10.25 hours per week, term-time only. You will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during school holidays unless required by the contract. The total work commitment is a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks annually.
Job Purpose
* Support high-quality, child-centred sports activities that meet the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.
* Provide a safe, stimulating environment, ensuring toys and resources are properly used, maintained, and stored. Report any worn or damaged materials to the Manager.
* Support sports activities that children enjoy, with experience working with children aged 4-11 years being advantageous.
* Contribute to a safe and calm play-based environment.
