If you’re an Estimator who enjoys being involved from first enquiry to tender win, and you’re looking for a role where your input genuinely matters - this one’s worth a look.
We’re partnering with a growing Building Remediation Specialist to recruit an Estimator into their commercial team. You’ll work directly alongside the Head of Estimating on live, technically interesting tenders, gaining exposure to the full bid lifecycle and developing your career in a supportive, team-led environment.
This is a great move for someone with 3+ years’ estimating or QS experience who wants more ownership, more learning, and a clearer progression path - without being lost in a large corporate structure.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping competitive, high-quality tenders across multiple projects, including:
* Supporting live tenders from enquiry through to submission
* Working closely with the Head of Estimating on pricing strategy and bid development
* Building up labour, material, plant, and equipment pricing
* Sourcing and negotiating competitive supply-chain quotations
* Interpreting drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
* Identifying key cost drivers, risks, and programme constraints
* Preparing priced schedules of works and contract sum analyses
* Raising and managing tender clarifications
* Supporting smooth handovers to the Project QS team on successful awards
You’ll be trusted to manage multiple tenders at once, with the backing of an experienced team and clear processes around you.

* Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail

* Genuinely collaborative, team-first culture
* Open-door management style — your input is welcomed and valued
* Strong focus on development, progression, and long-term careers
* Flexible and hybrid working supported
* A growing business where you can make a visible impact
