We are seeking an experienced Clean Water Modeller to join our Chief Engineering Office team - someone who brings strong capability in clean water network modelling and a commitment to developing deep technical expertise. What you will be doing You will lead the capital scheme clean water modelling capability within the Chief Engineer’s O ffice team, collaborat ing with A sset M anagement and O perations to influence how our clean water systems are designed, operated, and optimised. You will translate complex model outputs into clear, risk based recommendations and play an active role in assuring modelling quality and developing capability across the team. Key responsibilities include: Deliver ing technical excellence in water modelling using tools such as Synergi & InfoWorks WS Pro Lead ing the development of solutions and testing operating scenarios for new water assets D iagnosing performance issues in existing assets Shar ing knowledge and contribut ing to the continuous improvement of standards, specifications, and processes. Promot ing a culture of collaboration and integration, delivering exceptional service to customers, stakeholders, and the wider Anglian Water business. What we are looking for You will bring extensive hands on experience in clean water network modelling, along with: Proven leadership in delivering complex modelling projects involving multiple stakeholders Experience of leading technical studies and interpreting system behaviour Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills Experience with tools such as InfoWorks WS Pro, Synergi, or similar Solid hydraulic fundamentals and a genuine commitment to professional growth Strong knowledge of industry context, policies, frameworks, and initiatives, including interpreting their impact on modelling priorities A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrable relevant experience; Chartered status or working towards it with a professional body.
