Job Description

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS

FULL-TIME

We are not able to support applications that require sponsorship.

We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the Uk and live within a commutable distance to the location of the job role and able to work a minimum 33 hours per week.

Successful applicants, will have minimum 1-year experience preferably in a similar role.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Location:Oakington, CB25

Care Centre offers specialist nursing support packages and respite care, registered with the Care Quality Commission to house forty residents at a time.


The main Key Responsibilities for this role are:


1. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
2. Support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
5. Help patients with mobility and physical activities as required.
6. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
7. Assist with the administration of medication under supervision.

Requirements


8. Experience in a similar role in the UK is desirable
9. Right to work in the UK- no sponsorship provided
10. Strong communication skills
11. Ability to follow care plans effectively,
12. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
13. Experience in providing care in a home care setting
14. Proficiency in English and basic IT skills
15. Prior experience in a care home environment
16. Team player
17. Ability to work on own initiative
18. A caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
19. Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
20. Relevant certifications such as an NVQ in Health and Social Care are beneficial.
21. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.

Requirements
