Design Technology Teacher - Product Design Specialism
In the heart of Dartford an 'Outstanding' STEM Specialist Secondary School are on the hunt for a Design Technology Teacher - Product Design Specialism for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Design Technology Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Design Technology department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.
The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Job Description
* Design Technology Teacher or Design Technology ECT
* Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
* Working alongside a team of fantastic Teachers
* TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
* ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
* September 2025 - Full Time & Permanent
* MPS1-UPS3
* Located in the Borough of Dartford
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
* Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
* Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
* You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
* Must be willing to listen to feedback
