MainPurpose of Job
To providecurriculum PE lessons and extracurricular multisport clubs tochildren in Key Stages 14. The candidate will predominately workdaytime hours however will be required to work some evenings andweekends. The role may include working at our Community FootballDevelopment Centres or our Community Engagement sessions dependingon skillset andexperience.
Responsibilities
* Todeliver a variety of sports sessions professionally and with theflexibility to ensure all participants are offered coaching at alevel appropriate to their ability and support needs.
* Develop relationships with participantsteaching staff and parents.
* Keep up to datemonitoring including registers VIEWS database risk assessments andany relevant reporting documents.
* To lead onthe delivery in our Key PE schools
* To accessall quality assurance and staff training offered by the Trustduring the term of employment.
* Act as a pointof contact in emergency situations providing assistance and guidingindividuals to safety.
* Coordinate with relevantauthorities and emergency services asnecessary.
* Stay informed about safeguardingpolicies procedures and bestpractices.
* Participate in training sessionsrelated to safeguarding and emergencyresponse.
* Report any safeguarding concernspromptly to the appropriate authorities ordesignatedpersonnel.
* Maintain accurate records ofincidents concerns and actionstaken.
* Effectively communicate with staffclients and visitors to promote a culture of safety andawareness.

Essential
* MinimumLevel 2 or above sports coachingqualification
* Safeguarding certificate
* Emergency Aid certificate
* Current Enhanced DBS
* Minimum 2 years experience in delivering PECurriculum Coaching
* Ability to work under owninitiative and as part of a team.
* Ability totravel to variety of workplaces within West London utilising owntransport
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to establish and maintain good workingrelationships.
* Experience in planning anddelivering sports activities in curriculumbased PE and after schoolclub environments.
* Experience in understandingand commitment to physical education sport and longterm athletedevelopment.
Desirable:
* PhysicalEducation Degree or Sports Coaching Degree
* AfPE Level 3 PESS qualification
* Computer Literate (Microsoft Office) / ITskills
