Accounts Assistant Required for Nottingham based business. Key duties include: * Processing invoices, coding, checking them against a purchase order and investigating any discrepancies * Process CIS Subcontractor Invoices * Bank Reconciliations * Accruals and Prepayments * Producing Monthly Stock Report * Raise Sales Applications * Checking and scanning delivery notes * Dealing with supplier queries * Supporting the team in implementing new and improving current procedures * Liaising with other departments in order to process documentation where required * Keeping accurate records * Answering the telephone and dealing with queries where possible * Dealing with emails * Other ad hoc duties Skills: * Good attention to detail * Good numeracy and literacy skills. * Good written and verbal communication. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, mainly word & excel * SAGE 200, Inflow and Paperless experience would be an advantage however not essential * AAT Level 3 Preferred not essential Personal Attributes: * To be organised and able to manage your own workload * Be resilient under pressure and be flexible to changing daily demands * Aspiration to progress within the business Hours are 8am- 4.30pm Monday - Friday, however there is potential for this role to be part time
