Sales & Project Coordinator
My client is one of the largest suppliers of temporary structures to the events industry, installing staging and temporary structures at major festivals and tours across the UK and Europe. They offer an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join their Sales & Projects team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and be a good team player capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
This role requires a bright, flexible, and enthusiastic individual who will be pivotal in the smooth running of the sales department and projects. Confident in sales-related administration, you will ensure the delivery of quality service to customers. You will also assist other staff and departments as needed.
The Role
Assisting the sales team by:
* Processing sales enquiries and sending quotes
* Handling enquiries via telephone and email
* Researching and gathering information online and in-house
* Producing quotations and supporting documentation
* Following up enquiries through calls and emails
* Performing other sales-related administrative tasks
* Securing multi-year deals
Assisting the Sales & Projects Team with live events:
* Producing job files and documentation
* Ordering items required on-site and liaising with crew
* Requesting design and calculations
* Preparing RAMS
* Collating drawings and health & safety information before projects commence
* Agreeing on additional work with clients
* Ensuring projects stay within budget
* Booking accommodation and travel arrangements
* Booking necessary equipment and plant
Requirements
* Strong customer service, organization, and time management skills
* High accuracy, good numeracy, and attention to detail
* Excellent telephone manner
* Good knowledge of computers, Excel, and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing deadlines and workload
Benefits
* Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
* 21 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays, increasing with service

Hours
8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (flexible). Saturday work on a rota basis (May to November), paid additionally. One late night until 8 pm on a rota basis (May to October), paid additionally.
