Marketing Design Manager - Maternity Cover

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Design Manager to work with us on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Flexibility to work from home, travel to London Head Office - 1-2 times a week
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide creative direction for SME, Brand, and Marketing across CH&CO Group, championing projects that are strategically astute, creatively sensitive, and culturally aware, with an emphasis on results, brand strategy, and ROI.
* Manage cross-agency innovative solutions for projects like bids, brand, consumer-facing marketing, interiors, etc.
* Oversee budgeting, financial processes, third-party account management, and deliver presentations, focusing on economies of scale across brand projects.
* Support key business areas including Marketing, People, L&D, Comms, Tech, Procurement, Sustainability, CH&CO Charity and Sponsors, and the CH&CO Marketing Portal.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage creative design work, fostering a creative environment and inspiring your team and external partners.
* Conceptualize, moodboard, script, design, and deliver engaging presentations that reflect our brand values.
* Manage the annual design schedule, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
* Conduct research to support content production and articulate ideas clearly to non-designers.
* Act as a key contact for brand and graphic design, ensuring standards are upheld from design to delivery.
* Maintain industry awareness and incorporate current trends into creative work.
* Champion visual guidelines and adapt tone for different channels.
Skills and Experience:
* Degree or diploma in design (preferable).
* Strong ability to manage and deliver creative briefs, with a compelling portfolio.
* Experience nurturing talent and building cooperative teams.
* Excellent time and project management skills.
* Integrated design background, ideally client-side within the hospitality industry.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas and give/receive feedback.
* Understanding of brand connection to consumer and business strategy.
