Overview
Consultant Gastroenterology / Hepatology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. Permanent, full-time role based in King's Lynn, PG salary £109,725 to £145,478 per year (pro rata as applicable).
Job Description
To ensure the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients within the trust and to contribute to the further development of the Gastroenterology service. The appointed consultant would be expected to contribute to the on-going service improvement programme including: Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) and Cost Improvement Programme (CIP); implementing evidence based new ways of working when necessary.

Qualifications
Essential
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* MRCP UK (Full) or equivalent experience
* Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council
* Entry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of CCT or CESR in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine at time of interview
* JAG accreditation in Upper and Lower GI endoscopy
* High-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy
* High-quality skills in general and acute medicine and ability to manage medical takes
Desirable
* MD/PhD or research experience
