Data Protection Manager – Solvd.
We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Manager to lead our data protection strategy, drive GDPR and ISO27001 compliance, and promote best practices across the organization.
What you’ll do
* Maintain and enhance our data protection framework, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
* Drive the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO27001:2022.
* Act as the first point of contact for data protection queries, breaches, and subject access requests.
* Deliver engaging data protection training to colleagues and promote best practice across departments.
* Manage Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and attend group Data Protection Forums.
* Support information security initiatives and contribute to ISO 27001 certification.
Essential qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of data protection regulations and GDPR.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Understanding of information security principles with willingness to develop further.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with auditors, suppliers, and colleagues.
* IT proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
Desirable
* GDPR qualifications.
* Experience with ISO 27001.
* Data protection auditing experience.
