Registered Manager – Family Assessment Centre
Location: Stafford.
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum.
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of a Residential Family Assessment Centre in line with legislation, policies, procedures, and the Statement of Purpose.
* Lead on safeguarding, ensuring the protection and promotion of individual rights at all times.
* Develop and implement a service improvement plan to deliver high-quality, clinically informed practice.
* Provide strong leadership to support and motivate the staff team, ensuring best practice and professional conduct.
* Oversee casework, administrative functions, and performance monitoring to achieve outstanding outcomes.
* Recruit, induct, supervise, and appraise staff to build a skilled and stable team.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary working and liaise with commissioning authorities to meet the needs of families.
* Chair meetings, reviews, and discussions, maintaining professional standards throughout.
* Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, health & safety, and regulatory requirements, including Ofsted registration.
* Be part of the on-call rota and lead by example to maintain a safe, clean, and well-managed environment.
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
* Significant experience working within a Family Assessment Centre or similar residential family support service.
* Proven track record of leadership and staff supervision.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional ethics at all times.
* Confident liaising with Ofsted and external agencies.
