We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic person to join the cancer services team.
Under the direction of the Cancer Manager and Cancer Data Analyst, the post holder will be required to:
* Undertake a full range of administrative support tasks within the Cancer Services Department.
* Ensure that work outputs meet high standards of quality, complying with organisational requirements for Information Governance, RMS, and CQC, as well as all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Main duties include:
* Adhering to all work-related policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and achievement of targets.
* Utilising all appropriate technologies and equipment to provide efficient administrative and secretarial support to facilitate patient care.
* Participating in training, development, and appraisal processes relevant to the role.

Job responsibilities
* Proactively identify risks and take corrective actions to meet NHS Cancer Plan targets.
* Accurately record patient information for cancer patients as per departmental requirements.
* Assist in data entry into clinical systems using appropriate technologies, following all policies and guidelines.

Essential
* 5 GCSEs
* Data collection and validation skills

* Medical terminology knowledge
* Experience in healthcare environment
