A Dynatrace Integration Specialist configures, implements, and manages the Dynatrace APM platform, acting as a liaison between application teams and platform engineers. Responsibilities include setting up monitoring for apps, creating dashboards, designing synthetic tests, and integrating alerts into ITSM tools like ServiceNow. They troubleshoot performance issues, conduct audits, and provide training on monitoring best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Implementation & Configuration: Deploy and configure Dynatrace agents, tags, and dashboards for various applications.
* Integration: Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow for automatic ticketing and other systems (e.g., Jira, Slack) to streamline incident management.
* Synthetic Monitoring: Develop and maintain synthetic monitoring scenarios to simulate user journeys.
* Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Utilize Davis AI to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application performance bottlenecks.
* Monitoring Compliance: Define and audit monitoring compliance levels to ensure maximum visibility. Expertise in setting up and tuning alarms Dynatrace.
* Training & Mentoring: Train application teams on proper usage of the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tool Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Dynatrace Managed or SaaS, including Smartscape topology.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong Knowledge of SQL (writing Simple and Complex SQLs, PL/SQL Functions and Procedures)
* Integration Experience: Experience with APIs and webhook configurations for ITSM tools.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
* Certifications: Dynatrace Professional Certification is often preferred.
* Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for liaison work, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
