Financial Accountant (9-Month FTC)

We're now looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team on a 9-month fixed-term contract, supporting financial reporting, compliance and accounting activities across multiple entities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their work and partnering with stakeholders across an international business.
What you'll be doing
* Managing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end and quarterly reporting
* Providing commentary and analysis across accounts within your area of responsibility
* Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements
* Coordinating external audit activities
* Working closely with local finance teams and stakeholders on accounting matters
* Liaising with tax advisors and third-party providers
* Supporting process improvement initiatives and finance projects
* Assisting with the onboarding and integration of new entities
* Providing support on ad-hoc finance queries and reporting requirements
What we're looking for
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Previous experience within a fast-paced finance environment
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
* Strong Excel skills
* SAP experience would be highly advantageous
* Exposure to US GAAP and SOX would be beneficial
