About the Role
Based at our Stoke Ferry Mill site in Norfolk, this is an exciting opportunity to join our central commodities procurement team - a high-profile function within the business responsible for managing, hedging, and reporting on commodity spend across our seven UK feed mills.
As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the management of commodity positions for a variety of feeds including wheat, rapeseed and soya. You'll ensure data accuracy across multiple systems, maintain position sheets, and assist with contract tracking and reporting. This position offers excellent exposure to commodities procurement and the potential to develop into a buying role over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update commodity position sheets
* Support the tracking and management of procurement positions and contracts.
* Compile and reconcile commodity data to support risk management and hedging activities.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
* Monitor market information and support the preparation of reports
* Uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance across all data and documentation.

You'll be highly organised, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with a background in administration, data management, or procurement who is looking to grow their career in commodities.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong administrative and data management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent numeracy and proficiency in Excel and data systems.
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and contracts simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in procurement, commodities, or agriculture sectors (e.g. cereals, feed, or agri-business) is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
