Vehicle Technician
Location: – Birmingham, UK
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 08:00-17.00
The role involves carrying out a wide range of service, maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on modern vehicles, including petrol, diesel, and light commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be confident working with both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems and capable of diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently.
Skills & Technical Experience Required
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Strong experience diagnosing faults on modern vehicles
* Good understanding of engine management systems, CAN bus networks, and vehicle electronics
* Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
* RTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIPS)
Desirable Technical Skills
* MOT Tester qualification
* Hybrid and Electric Vehicle awareness or qualifications
* Experience with dealer-level diagnostic platforms
* Air conditioning service and repair certification
