Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of Engineering Fitters to help improve the reliability of plant equipment & facilities.
Shift pattern for the Maintenance Team Leader:
* Week one - Monday - Friday (6am – 14:00pm)
* Week two – Monday – Thursday (14:00pm – 22:00pm)
* Week two – Friday (18:00pm finish)
What’s on offer for the Maintenance Team Leader:
* Competitive salary up to £38,000 - £40,000 p.a.
Duties of the Maintenance Team Leader:
* To carry out planed and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, and facilities in a timely manner.
* To work proactively on improving plant reliability, carrying out planned maintenance schedules and help
* Assisting in the implementation, & maintenance of CMMs.
* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, complete, and safe condition in accordance with company and quality standards.
* Provide leadership and guidance to operational staff, directing and monitoring their activities effectively.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of all paperwork in accordance with company policy.
* Perform installation, commissioning and other service duties as required, on site.
* Continuously monitor part delivery and quality
* Fitting and assembly of machine parts to engineering drawings
* Ability to self-organise, prioritise work and adhere to deadlines.
The successful candidate for the Maintenance Team Leaders position will have the following experience:
* 3 – 5 year’s experience working as a Maintenance Team Leader/Supervisor (Essential)
* Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings (Essential)
* Experienced with Maintaining & repairing Machining centres, Lathes and other plant equipment (Essential)
* Attention to detail with the ability to analyse, fault find and implement solutions (Essential)
* Experience within heavy engineering (Desirable)
