Global Head of Compliance

We are partnering with a globally regulated crypto and digital assets firm on the appointment of a Global Head of Compliance, based in London. This is a critical leadership role with responsibility for building, owning, and evolving the firm’s global compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will act as a senior control function leader, working closely with the executive team, regulators, and regional compliance heads to ensure the business operates to the highest regulatory and ethical standards as it continues to scale internationally.
The Role
As Global Head of Compliance, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the firm’s global compliance strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning and leading the global compliance framework across multiple regulated jurisdictions
* Acting as the primary senior compliance leader for UK and international regulators
* Designing and maintaining policies covering AML, CTF, sanctions, market abuse, conduct risk, and financial crime
* Advising the board and executive team on regulatory risk, regulatory change, and strategic initiatives
* Leading, mentoring, and scaling regional compliance teams globally
* Overseeing regulatory licensing, registrations, and ongoing supervisory relationships
* Embedding a strong compliance culture across the organisation
* Supporting new product launches and market expansions from a regulatory perspective
About You
We are looking for a highly credible compliance leader with deep regulatory expertise and experience operating at a global level.
You will ideally have:
* Significant senior compliance experience within crypto, digital assets, fintech, or financial services
* Proven experience leading compliance across multiple jurisdictions
* Strong working knowledge of UK (FCA) regulation and global regulatory regimes
* Experience acting as a senior point of contact for regulators
* Expertise in AML, financial crime, conduct, and regulatory governance
* Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing international teams
* Ability to operate at board and executive level with confidence and authority
