Revit Design Engineer (Manufacturing) £40,000 + (DOE)

Avid Personnel is thrilled to be EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for a Revit Design Engineer to join their rapidly expanding manufacturing business in Stockport. Recently under new management, this company has exciting growth plans over the next 12 months — making this an ideal time to join their Design Team.
As our new skilled and detail-oriented Revit Designer, you will be part of their architectural/engineering team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and responsible for developing and producing accurate, high-quality 3D models and construction documents.
You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to support project development from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and manage detailed Revit models for sectors including education, emergency services, and leisure.
2. Develop construction documents, floor plans, sections, elevations, and details using Revit.
3. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure model integrity and perform clash detection.
4. Maintain BIM standards and project templates.
5. Assist with design development, presentation graphics, and renderings as needed.
6. Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
7. Support QA/QC efforts through model reviews and documentation checks.
8. Oversee external Revit designers/freelancers, ensuring schedules and modelling accuracy.
9. Maintain and improve interior Revit family libraries and templates.
Qualifications:
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
* 3+ years of professional experience with Autodesk Revit (Architecture, MEP, or Structure).
* Strong understanding of BIM principles and construction documentation.
* Proficiency with other design tools and software (e.g., SolidWorks, Viewpoint) is a plus.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with BIM 360 or Revit cloud collaboration.
* Knowledge of construction project workflows and approval processes.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Understanding of BIM principles and Level 2 requirements.
Contractual Benefits:
* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
* 3% pension contribution.

* Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Friday finish at 3:30 PM).
