Our Central Services Capital Projects team delivers a diverse range of schemes that keep water and wastewater services running safely and reliably across the Anglian Water region.We’relooking for a committed Project Engineer to help develop,planand deliver our capital programme, ensuring our sites, assets and customersbenefitfrom high-quality engineering solutions.
This isa great opportunityto make a difference in a role where no two days are the same, working with operational teams,contractorsand colleagues to bring projects to life.
What will you be doing?
1. Responsible for enabling activities tofacilitatethe delivery of planned/emergent capital projects
2. Develop solutions in line with corporate governance and delivery route goals
3. Ensure solutions are Water and/or Wastewater quality compliant
4. Completion of Root Cause Analysis
5. Complete optioneering of solutions
6. Comply withthe corporate Risk and Value process
7. Ensure standard products and other technical standards (e.g.minimumasset standards) are adhered to
8. Complete andcomply withall operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practices
9. Production and support completion of CDM Documentation
What does it take to be a Project Engineer?
10. Appropriate engineering qualification or membership of professional body or equivalent experience
11. Proven technical experience within the relevant environment (Water or Wastewater)
12. Knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S), and Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations
13. Experience managing a capital budget
14. Experience of project planning,deliveryand site supervision
15. Root cause analysis to optionee suitable solutions
16. Good IT literacyplus it would be desirable to have experience ofM2i, SAP and Power Bi
