Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations. A valid driving licence is preferred as travel to various job sites may be required.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure a precise fit.
* Mix paints and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to complete projects on time.
Requirements
* Proven experience in painting or a related field.
* Strong communication skills in English, verbal .
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
