As a Design and Technology Teacher (DT), you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage innovation and technical understanding across a range of materials and design processes. Key Duties: Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across key stages. Teach areas such as product design, resistant materials, and basic engineering concepts. Support pupils in developing practical skills, creativity, and technical knowledge. Ensure the safe use of tools, machinery, and workshop environments. Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. Ability to deliver practical lessons safely and effectively. An engaging, enthusiastic, and hands-on teaching approach.
