As a Goods Receiver, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant by managing deliveries and ensuring all goods are received, checked, and stored correctly. Your responsibilities include inspecting deliveries for accuracy and quality, recording and organising stock, maintaining clean and safe storage areas, liaising with suppliers and the kitchen team, and ensuring all goods are handled in line with company standards and food safety regulations.

Possesses skills such as effective communication, attentiveness, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
To follow safe working practices laid down when carrying out general duties.
To follow procedures with regards to invoices, delivery notes, requisitions and the ordering of all products.
To notify the relevant departments of the goods received ASAP and ensure these are stored correctly & safely.
To ensure that your place of work is kept clear and tidy at all times
To assist the Head Chef with any implications of the HACCP manual.
To ensure that the security of the delivery areas is strictly maintained at all times.
To ensure all deliveries are stored promptly.
Requirements:
Proven experience working in a fast-paced goods receiving, warehouse, or stock control environment
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
Detail-oriented and accuracy-driven, ensuring all deliveries are checked, recorded, and stored correctly
