Job overview:
Are you a Business Analyst with a passion for driving impactful change in a health insurance setting? AXA Global Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract and lead comprehensive analysis across the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to successful closedown. You'll conduct thorough situational analyses, impact assessments-covering systems, processes and people-and define clear requirements to support informed decision-making around scope, business cases, and dependencies. This position is specifically focused on supporting the Claims Technical Excellence project, so prior experience in the domain of insurance claims processing is essential. Join us to help shape the future of health insurance with your expertise and insight!
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure all change requirements are clearly defined end-to-end, with a thorough understanding of impacts on systems, people and processes.
* Guarantee that requirements analysis aligns with AXA's standards and supports the company's target architecture for both business and technical landscapes.
* Collaborate within the Business Architecture and Analysis team, following the AXA Global Healthcare framework to enable informed decision-making on change initiatives.
* Create epics and user stories for Agile teams and/or produce waterfall artefacts where needed, supporting flexible delivery approaches.
* Support business users in defining their requirements clearly, fostering a focus on needs rather than solutions.
* Manage communication related to business requirements, ensuring clarity, distribution, and approval at each stage.
* Review testing strategies and results to ensure project objectives are met, maintaining quality and consistency.
* Oversee changes to requirements throughout projects, ensuring all change management activities are completed and impacts are fully documented and approved.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience:
* Proven experience in identifying and recording the impact of change on systems, processes and people, supporting benefits realisation.
* Extensive experience using end-to-end business analysis and design frameworks to inform decision-making on system and process changes.
* Relevant business analysis experience supported by ISEB or other appropriate qualifications.
* Strong understanding of technical and business architecture, with expertise in customer and employee journey mapping and analysis.
* Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, with experience working within Agile teams.
* Ability to think conceptually, especially when business objectives and requirements are not fully defined.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to focus business users on desired outcomes.
* Demonstrable experience in delivering Claims process improvement, automation, and re-engineering projects within the insurance sector is essential.
