A number of welcoming nurseries and early years settings across Newcastle upon Tyne are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing practitioners to join their teams and provide exceptional care and learning experiences for young children.

Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term and Day-to-day Roles Available – Early Years Practitioner
* Support children aged 0–5 years in their early development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote children’s progress and well-being.
* Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning to support each child’s individual development.
* A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education).
* Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
* A warm, patient, and supportive approach to working with young children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for providing the best start in life for every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
